Why Choose This Programme?

A premium executive programme designed for leaders required to deliver growth, justify investments and align teams. This programme combines strategic clarity, peer-level discussion and practical decision frameworks — delivered in two intensive cohorts throughout the year. This is not soft skill training, but it does talk about attitude and mindset. It is not deep theory but it does recommend Marketing science best practice. Ultimately it is experience led mentoring.

Most leadership programmes are theoretical or focused on soft skills. This programme addresses real dilemmas with real examples giving applicable frameworks—delivered by an expert with 25+ years of multinational leadership experience. Expert Leader: Grant McKenzie

Grant McKenzie

Grant McKenzie

25+ Years Building Brands That Win. Leading Teams That Deliver. Leading Leaders.
5 Countries. 50+ Team Members. 200 Marketing team organisation. Billions in Revenue. Growth and awards. Centred around one question: What Actually Works?

Over 25 years leading marketing and commercial strategy for MARS, SABMiller and ASAHI across Europe—markets where mistakes cost millions and winning requires both science and judgment.

Track Record:

  • Turned around declining brands in declining markets (Czech Republic, Romania) where "just maintain share" was considered ambitious
  • Led marketing teams of 50+ people and commercial P&Ls exceeding €500M annually
  • Secured budgets in environments where marketing was initially seen as cost, not investment—and changed that perception
  • Navigated marketing-sales and local-central conflicts in matrixed organizations and built alignment that actually stuck
  • Made portfolio and pricing decisions that protected long-term brand value while delivering short-term results under CFO scrutiny

What Makes Grant Different? Most consultants teach what they learned in books. Grant teaches what he learned by doing—from his own hard-won lessons and lived experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Who should attend this programme?
This programme is specifically designed for senior marketing and commercial leaders: Chief Marketing Officers, Marketing Directors (in companies navigating growth pressure), Commercial Directors with P&L responsibility and General Managers and CEOs involved in marketing decisions. You should have direct leadership experience, budget responsibility, and be involved in board or executive team discussions.
What differentiates this programme from other leadership programmes?
Most programmes are theoretical or focused on soft skills. This programme addresses real leadership dilemmas with practical examples and immediately applicable frameworks. Grant McKenzie doesn't teach from books—he teaches from 25+ years of experience leading €500M+ P&Ls and transforming brands in declining markets. It's distilled experience, not theory.
How does the peer-to-peer format work?
Programmes are intentionally small (max 12-15 participants) to allow authentic discussions between leaders of the same level. This isn't classic one-to-many training, but rather peer exchange facilitated by Grant. All participants are screened to ensure relevance and value for everyone.
How is the programme delivered? Online or in-person?
Each cohort includes 3 online executive sessions (2 hours each, evenings 18:00-20:00 Romanian time) and 1 live masterclass (4 hours, mornings 09:00-13:00). The online sessions allow convenient participation for busy leaders, while the live masterclass provides intensive interaction and networking.
Can I attend both cohorts (Spring + Fall)?
Yes, and it's recommended! Each cohort covers complementary themes. Spring focuses on growth in challenging conditions and building capability, while Fall addresses strategic role, portfolio decisions and planning. Attending both gives you a complete picture of modern marketing leadership. Plus, you save €150 on the complete package (€950 vs. €1,100).
What happens if I miss a session?
All sessions are recorded and you'll have access to recordings + materials. However, the real value comes from live participation and interaction with Grant and other leaders, so we strongly recommend live attendance.
How do I justify this investment to my company/CFO?
A single improved decision—in pricing, portfolio, budget allocation or team building—can save or generate tens or hundreds of thousands of euros. The ROI is clear. We also offer purchase orders for corporate payment and split payment facilities.
Is there a discount for teams?
Yes! For 3+ participants from the same organization we offer a 20% discount per person (€440 vs. €550). The benefit: your leadership team will have common frameworks, aligned vocabulary and much faster post-programme execution.
What is the registration deadline?
Early Bird (€850): March 31 for our premium package that includes both programmes. Regular registration: April 1st for Spring, September 1st for Fall. Places are limited to 12-15 participants per programme, so we recommend early registration.
