This level is designed to offer progression to the Level 4 qualification. Successful completion of the Foundation Certificate will establish the knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to perform at a “Marketing Assistant” level and carry out an essential  and professional marketing role within the workplace.

Completion time:

The Certificate Foundation  in Professional  and Digital Marketing can be completed in 6 months (240 hours total qualification time)

The full course comprises two modules, one mandatory and one  elective  that both account for 24 credits and 240  hours, total qualification time.

1. Marketing Essentials

Designed to provide you with an understanding of the key concepts and terminology needed to build knowledge and understanding of how marketing works, how customers behave and how the marketing mix can be applied.

2. Marketing Insights (elective module)

Insight into how and why customers are key to matching marketing activities to meet customer needs. Gaining understanding of concepts, techniques and applications within marketing research and customer insights is key, alongside how social, cultural and technological differences influence behavior.

3. Content and Channels (elective module)

Communicationg and informing your customers is a key aspect of building a relationship. This module introduces the types of content marketers can create, as well as the channels that can be used to reach key target audiences.

Course Start Dates

The Fondation Certificate in Professional & Marketing  can be completed in just 6 months. We offer two interactive study routes with various start dates throughout the year.

Delegates can choose Virtual  Afternoons or Virtual Evenings: 7 online interactive sessions starting, from  16 to 18.30 or 20 to 23:00, Romanian time.

May ‘25 – Marketing Essentials  Interactive virtual afternoons or evenings from May 12 till June 23rd, 7 weeks, 6 course sessions + one revision session.

June ‘25 – Content and Chanels/Marketing Insights. Interactive virtual afternoons or evenings from  July 14th till August 25th, 7 weeks, 6 course sessions + one revision session.

In addition to the course fee, there is a CIM membership fee of £65 + VAT, valid for one year, and an assessment fee of £110 + VAT per module. Course fees will only be payable when students choose to take the exam.
